A qualified Interior Designer from NIFD, Ashu Gupta holds Art close to her heart as a passion and a hobby. Born in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Ashu presently resides in Bengaluru, and has trained and works on several mediums. Over a period of time, her style has evolved and she currently excels in the medium of pen and ink.

Ashu has participated in numerous group shows like the India Art Festival, 2016, and the prestigious Lalit Kala Academy also shortlisted her work on pen-and-ink, for the year 2016-17.

'The Circle of Life' is a series of paintings based on a reflective period of her life spanning for over a year. The theme represents multiple philosophies. In life, Ashu believes, desire, hate and ignorance take to the centre of the circles, representing existence, and we, humans, forever try to evade it. Where every circle is different, and some circles are considerably larger and more complex than the others, The Circle of Life in itself represents life as a journey in its entirety.
